RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure opening procedure, table set up is set according to the Restaurant’s requirements.
- To be present in the restaurant during service hours.
- Ensure that all table top items are clean and in good repair.
- Arrange restaurant seating plan in line with reservation book and Restaurant Manager requirements.
- Set up the hostess desk according to the standards.
- Greet the guest in a friendly and courteous manner according to the standards.
- Check cleanliness of chair/sofa cushions. Host the guest for seating relocation according to the standards.
- Assist with service as required by the according to the standards.
- Handle all telephone bookings and inquiries in accordance with the standards.
- Ensure that the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Restaurant Manager are kept informed of all guest comments and complaints.
- During the closing procedure, ensure that all tabletop items are collected and cleaned as per the standards.
- Ensure that all menus, drinks list, and guest collateral items are kept clean and undamaged according to the standards.
- Assist Restaurant Manager in maintaining all guest history records.
- Attend communication meetings, briefings, and training sessions as required by the Restaurant Manager, and Food and Beverage Manager.
- To keep the uniform neat and clean and ensure personal grooming and hygiene are in line with standards.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in Food and Beverage department and/or industry
- Great communication skills, Warm and inviting personality
- Willingness to learn open-mindedly, to work with a flexible schedule and responds positively to changing requirements including the performance of any tasks requested of you
- Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
